Australia initiates AD duty investigation for hot rolled plate imports

Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation for hot rolled plate imports from South Korea and Taiwan with width greater than 600 mm and thickness equal to or greater than 4.75 mm.
 
The investigation launched following the application lodged by Australian steelmaker BlueScope Steel will cover the period between January 1 and December 31, 2014.
 
The products subject to antidumping duty investigation currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7208.40.00, 7208.51.00, 7208.52.00 and 7225.40.00.
