Argentinian auto production and sales decrease in July from June

Argentina’s auto production output in July this year totaled 45,253 units, declining by 16.4 percent month on month and down 8.3 percent year on year, as announced by the nation’s automotive industry association, Adefa.

According to Adefa, in July Argentinian auto exports declined by 22.7 percent compared to the previous month and were down by 9.4 percent compared to July 2014 to 21,817 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in July totaled 83,875, increasing by 6.6 percent year on year and declining by 5.1 percent month on month. 

The nation’s automotive industry produced 315,526 units in the first seven months of the year, 11.8 percent less than in the same period of the previous year. Likewise, exports also declined in the seven-month period to 154,123 units, down 21.1 percent year on year.
