Argentina’s crude steel production down 11.6 percent in January

Argentina’s crude steel production in January this year decreased by 6.8 percent month on month, to 291,300 mt, down 11.6 percent compared to January last year, the country's steel chamber (CAA) has stated. 
 
Argentina's hot rolled finished steel production in January decreased by 5.1 percent month on month and was down 14.1 percent year on year to 294,400 mt, while its cold rolled flat steel production in the given month fell by 1.8 percent month on month and by 8.6 percent year on year to 111,700 mt.
