ArcelorMittal Piracicaba to restart production

ArcelorMittal Piracicaba has restarted operations at its longs plant located in Piracicaba city, in São Paulo, Brazil, after being out of action since November 2008.

Piracicaba says it will first give priority to steel production and to steel rolling after that.

The mill is specialized in producing long products and has an annual capacity of 1 million mt.
