ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output down nine percent in Jan-Sept

In the January-September period of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 4.118 million mt, down nine percent year on year. In addition, in the first nine months of the year, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 10 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 3.568 million mt.

During the period in question, coke production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih decreased by three percent to 1.943 million mt, while its iron ore concentrate output increased by six percent to 6.957 million mt, both on year-on-year basis.
