ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih produces 6.13 million mt of steel in 2010

ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, Ukraine-based subsidiary of the world's largest integrated metals and mining company ArcelorMittal, has announced that in 2010 it succeeded in increasing the production volumes of its main product types by 20 percent compared to 2009.

Meanwhile, in December 2010, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih's overhaul repairs of it blooming shop No. 2 and its convertor No. 1 were carried out and completed. The convertor's repair included the replacement of the convertor's body and support rim, as well as overhaul repairs of its gas-cleaning units and operating platform. The mentioned repairs will essentially increase the operational reliability of the equipment, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih said.
