ArcelorMittal issues €1 billion worth of notes

On November 18, the world's largest steelmaker Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal has announced the issuance of €1 billion worth of 4.625 percent notes due on November 17, 2017.

The closing of the issuance was completed on the day of the statement. The notes have been issued under the ‘€3 billion Euro Medium-Term Notes Program' of ArcelorMittal.

The proceeds of the issuance will be used to refinance existing indebtedness and extend the debt maturity profile of the company, ArcelorMittal said.
