ArcelorMittal acquires Astralloy Steel Products

ArcelorMittal has announced the acquisition of North America-based Astralloy Steel Products Inc. (Astralloy), a subsidiary of IMS International Metal Service.

Astralloy operates three warehouses and employs 60 people in Birmingham, Alabama. Its revenues for 2007 were $34 million.

The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
