Arcelor-Mittal has formed an Indian subsidiary – Mittal Steel
India Limited, to proceed with its 12 million mt steel project in Orissa province.
The chief of the company's
India operations Mr. Sanak Mishra has informed
India's Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik that the final decision on the site of the project will be taken within five to six weeks, after the public sector consultancy Mecon submits its report.
