Ansteel to develop high-strength steel for automobiles

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel Co. (Ansteel) has announced that it plans to develop high-strength steel and hot dip galvanized steel for automobiles and produce a new generation of advanced steel products, and become one of most competitive steel producers for the automotive sector.

Ansteel stated that its main customers include well-known automobile producers, including FAW Group, Volkswagen, General Motors, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., SAIC Motor, BAIC Group, Great Wall Motors, Changan Automobile, BYD Auto, Geely Auto and Cherry Auto etc.
