Anshan Steel starts building CR steel processing base in Hefei

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Anshan Iron and Steel Group (Anshan Steel) has stated that on December 21 it laid the foundation stone for its high-quality cold rolled steel processing base project in Boyan Technology Park, Hefei High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Anhui Province.
 
The project in question will be built on an area of 55,336 m2, with a planned investment of RMB 330 million ($52.22 million). Upon completion, it will focus on steelmaking, steel processing, wholesale and retail, and will include a length-cutting line with annual capacity of 100,000 mt, a pendulum shear line with an annual capacity of 100,000 mt and a cross-cutting shear line with an annual capacity of 40,000 mt.
