Annual finished steel output in Liupanshui to exceed 10 million mt by 2016

He Gang, the mayor of the city of Liupanshui in the southwestern Chinese province of Guizhou, has stated that by 2016 the city will see its annual finished steel product output surpass 10 million mt with an estimated value of over RMB 50 billion ($7.9 billion), as reported by local media in Liupanshui.

Mayor He went on to say that the municipal government would support the upgrading of Shougang Shuicheng Iron and Steel Co. as well as the new finished steel production project of Shouqian Resources Co. which will have an annual output capacity of 3 million mt.
