Alba to commission new plant in Taysad Organized Industrial Zone

Istanbul, Turkey-based ALBA Kalıp ve Otomasyon Makineleri Imalat San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. (Alba), a producer of moulds and automation machines for the construction, automobile and white goods sectors, has announced that its new plant in Taysad Organized Industrial Zone in Kocaeli, Turkey will be inaugurated soon.

The 9,800 m2 plant has been built in order to respond to the rising demand, which the company's former headquarters in Umraniye, Istanbul was not able to meet. Alba has almost completed the process of moving to the new plant which will double the company's output.

Speaking to SteelOrbis, company officials said that Alba is constantly expanding its product basket, resulting in an increasing market share in the local and international markets. Alba officials added that the company currently exports its products to 40 different countries.

Active in the market since 1992, the company started using plastic injection moulding two years ago.
