AHMSA reports EBITDA of US$46 million in Q1

Altos Hornos de Mexico and subsidiaries (AHMSA) reported Thursday an EBITDA of 558 million pesos (US$46 million) at the end of Q1 2013.

During the period, AHMSA sold 860,266 tons of steel products, with revenues of 9.003 billion pesos (US$740.9 million).

However, the company reported an operating profit of $306 million pesos (US$25.1 million) and net profit of 266 million pesos (US$21.8 million).

Altos Hornos de Mexico is the largest integrated steel producer in Mexico.
