Abramovich buys 41 percent of Evraz

Evraz Holding disclosed yesterday that it reached an agreement on sale of 50 percent of stake in company Lanebrook, which holds 82.67 percent of stake in Evraz Holding, to the group of companies Millhouse, which represents the interests of Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich. The transaction was singed on June 16, 2006, with closing of transaction being conditional upon the receipt of certain regulatory approvals. Thus, the group of companies Millhouse had reached an agreement on buying of 41 percent of stake in Evraz Holding, one of the largest Russia's mining and steel companies.
