Egang Now has 6 rolling steel production lines, they are high speed wire rod rolling, bar tandem rolling, alloyed steel section rolling, hot-rolled strip rolling, cold-rolled sheet rolling and heavy plate rolling line. Its main products are plate (heavy plate and cold-rolled sheet), wire rod (high speed wire rod), bar (hot-rolled round bar and rebar) and strip (hot-rolled strip).
Egang is the largest base of constructional steel products production, an important base of industrial steel products production and an emerging base of high-end steel plate production base in Hubei Province. Its technology and equipment are advanced and products are at high quality. It passed ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Selective checked by the quality supervision departments at all administrative levels, its qualified product ratio maintains consistently in 100%. Rebar, high-speed wire rod, hot-rolled round bar and hot-rolled strip were awarded Famous Brand in Hubei Province and "Gold Award" in China steel industry; rebar got the National Examination Exemption Certificate and the "Egang Brand" was selected into Chinese Brand Library.
Egang’s 4300mm Heavy Plate Production Line, equipped with the updated technology and facilities, such as high-precision rolling process, advanced automatic control, TMCP, automatic shearing, on-line automatic flaw detection, non-oxidation heat treatment, automatic marking, etc. can satisfy the customer requirements of high dimensional accuracy and performance of high-grade heavy plate.
Adhered to the principle of " based on the domestic and self-integration, imported in the way of ordering dishes and reached world-class level", the latest international heavy plate production technology and development trends were followed during the period of design for the Heavy Plate Production Line and the policy of “advanced, available and reliable” was observed in the key equipment importation process.
At present, the slab was supplied by Wuhan Iron and Steel Stock Company, the main varieties including ship plate with different strength classes, bridge steel, pipeline steel, vessel plate, high-rise building steel and engineering machinery steel. The product specifications are 5 ~ 100mm × 900 ~ 4100mm × 3000 ~ 25000mm, which could be delivered in the state of normal rolled, control rolled, TMCP and heat treatment with annual production capacity of 120 million tons.
