The downtrend persists in the Turkish market for welded pipes amid continuously low demand at home and abroad and falling raw material costs. Domestic and export offers of welded pipes from Turkish producers have declined by around $10-20/mt over the past two weeks. Market participants do not expect the situation to improve in the near future due to slow implementation of construction projects in the country and obscure prospects of the global market developments, and welded
pipe prices may continue to slide down on weaker sentiment in both domestic and export markets for welded pipes.
