The Turkish seamless pipe market has continued to see only moderate demand from end-users, while some foreign suppliers have lowered their prices further. Over the past month, offers of Chinese seamless pipes to Turkey have decreased by a maximum of $20/mt. Russian and Ukrainian suppliers have left  their offers almost unchanged over the same period. At the same time, import quotations of Romanian material have decreased by a maximum of $5/mt over the past month due to currency fluctuations, while offers of Italian seamless pipes have declined by $70-80/mt. Demand for seamless pipes in the Turkish market is not expected to improve substantially in the short term, and prices may remain relatively stable in July.

Chinese suppliers are offering seamless pipes of 2"-8" grade B made to ASTM to the Turkish market in the price range of $900-980/mt CFR.

July-August production pipes from Ukrainian producer Interpipe with diameter of 50-323 mm as per GOST or ASTM are being offered to the Turkish market at about $1,120-1,160/mt CFR.

Quotations of Russian seamless pipes from Volzhsky PP (TMK Group) with diameter up to 219.1 mm made to GOST or ASTM are being given to the Turkish market at about $1,060-1,090/mt CFR for July-August production. Russian producer ChTPZ is offering August-September production seamless pipes with diameter up to 219 mm made to GOST or ASTM at about $1,010-1,040/mt CFR.

Import offers of seamless pipes from Romania (ArcelorMittal), 12"-14" of grade B made to ASTM, are being given to the Turkish market at $1,360-1,400/mt CPT, while 3"-10" pipes are quoted at around $1,330-1,340/mt CPT.

6"-10" seamless pipes of grade B as per ASTM from Italian producer Tenaris Dalmine are quoted to Turkish customers at $1,620-1,780/mt CPT, while 16" pipes are at around $1,800-1,820/mt CPT.
