The Czech seamless pipe market is still stagnant, and prices have not changed over the past month. Despite expectations of a seasonal boost, seamless pipe consumption has remained low given the difficult financial and economic situation in the region. Weak end-user demand in the main consuming sectors and lack of credit continue to dampen market sentiment. Czech producers hope to see some improvement in volumes after Easter. However, the situation in the market is not expected to change dramatically in the coming short-term period, and quotations may remain at current levels.
