A Bulgarian producer has concluded sales of ERW welded pipes as per EN 10219 to some European Union countries in the range of €580-620/mt ($673-719/mt) CPT. Since it remains unknown if the European countries will be exempted from the US 25 percent Section 232 tariff on steel imports, European steel mills are reportedly cutting their production capacity utilization rates.
Meanwhile, sales of ERW welded pipes as per EN 10219 from Bulgaria to Hungary and Poland have been concluded at €590-600/mt ($684-696/mt) CPT, with other sales to the Czech Republic and Austria being at €600-610/mt ($696-708/mt) CPT, sales to Romania at €580-590/mt ($673-684/mt) CPT and sales to Germany being concluded at €610-620/mt ($708-719/mt) CPT.
