US scrap export offers drop further

SteelOrbis has learned that current bulk offer prices of ex-US shredded scrap to Turkey are heard at $250 to $260/mt CFR, representing a $5/mt decrease from the beginning of the week.  Current bulk offers of HMS I/II 80:20 to China stand at $300/mt CFR, down $20/mt from a week ago.

Ex-US containerized shipments of HMS I/II 80:20 material is being quoted at $260/mt CFR Korea, while the same offers to Taiwan are at $270/mt CFR.
