Turkish mills revise their domestic scrap purchase quotations

Most Turkish mills have raised their domestic scrap purchase quotations by TRY 75-150/mt as compared to SteelOrbis’ report published on November 3. Domestic scrap purchase quotations have increased by $10-19/mt on US dollar basis in the same period. The mills that decided to keep their domestic scrap purchase quotations in the local currency stable have raised their dollar-based purchase prices by $1-2/mt.

As a result, the benchmark DKP grade scrap prices in Turkey are in the range of TRY 2,150-2,540/mt or $254-300/mt.
