Turkish mills IDC and Habas cut ship scrap procurement prices

Since SteelOrbis’ previous report published on Monday, August 16, Turkish mills IDC and Habas announced changes in their ship scrap procurement prices. The producers have decreased their prices by $10-12/mt and so the general price range in Turkey’s ship scrap market is now at $450-455/mt, $7/mt lower on the previous upper end.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
