Turkey’s ship scrap prices decrease on lower end

Since SteelOrbis’ previous report published on Thursday, September 2, in Turkey’s Izmir region one local steel mill has reduced its ship scrap procurement prices by $10/mt, while the other local mills have kept their prices stable in this period. The general price range in Turkey’s ship scrap market is now in the range of $435-445/mt for delivery to mill by truck, as compared to $440-445/mt recorded in the previous report on September 2.
