Turkey’s ship scrap market decreases by $10/mt on lower end

As of today, June 21, Izmir-based Turkish mills have reduced their ship scrap procurement prices on the lower end by $10/mt to $355-370/mt. The total decline in Turkey’s ship scrap market has reached $90-110/mt since the beginning of June, depending on the mill.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
