On February 12, SteelOrbis reported that offers for containerized shredded (shredded 211) scrap from the EU and UK to Pakistan were up at $340-347/mt CFR. Offers from other destinations were reportedly at $333-340/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that in line with the scrap global trend, scrap import prices to Pakistan have since decreased to $325-332/mt CFR, down $15/mt. Prices reportedly moved down as Turkish import prices decreased and have resulted in active deals in the range provided.
