Scrap import offers to Vietnam soften

On March 22, SteelOrbis reported ex-US and ex-EU HMS I/II 80:20 bulk scrap offers to Vietnam at $345-360/mt CFR with buyers expressing interest at $335-345/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that transactions for HMS I/II 80:20 have been achieved at $340-347/mt CFR and offers are reportedly at $345-355/mt CFR. Offers have decreased $5/mt from the top of the previous range at week’s end.
