Some Turkish mills have decreased their local scrap purchase prices by TRY 25-300/mt ($3-34/mt) today, March 11. Meanwhile, some Turkish mills have kept their prices stable in the local currency, with their dollar-based quotations rising by $2-9/mt today amid currency fluctuations.
Accordingly, the general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap has settled TRY 3,050-3,720/mt, while the dollar-based quotations have changed from the range of $418-490/mt to $409-499/mt.
