Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 29

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have declined by INR 1,200/mt over the past week to INR 25,800/mt ($377/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 1,600/mt over the same period to INR 28,500/mt ($417/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $5/mt week on week to $360/mt CFR.
