Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 49

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 300/mt ($5/mt) to INR 23,200/mt ($375/mt) ex-yard over the past week, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 400/mt ($6/mt) over the same period, to INR 26,400/mt ($426/mt) ex-yard.
