Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 36

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 21,400/mt ($334/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 250/mt over the same period to INR 23,750/mt ($370/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $20/mt week on week to $340/mt CFR.
