Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 29

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 21,200/mt ($330/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 500/mt over the same period to INR 23,100/mt ($359/mt) ex-yard. 

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained unchanged week on week at $290/mt CFR.
