Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 21

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved sideways over the past week at INR 26,200/mt ($373/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have remained stable over the same period at INR 28,200/mt ($402/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained unchanged week on week at $330/mt CFR.
