Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 17

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 500/mt ($7/mt) over the past week to INR 17,000/mt ($255/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have remained unchanged over the same period at INR 19,200/mt ($288/mt) ex-yard.
