Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 10

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 300/mt over the past week to INR 19,300/mt ($290/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 700/mt over the same period to INR 19,500/mt ($293/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained unchanged week on week at $290/mt CFR.
