Latest situation in local Italian scrap market

According to market sources, Italian domestic scrap prices are expected to decrease by €10-20/mt this month due to the weakness of the local finished steel markets and the downtrend of import scrap prices to Turkey. For now, scrap prices in Italy have not settled yet as market players have only now come back from the holidays and have just started negotiations. The situation will become clearer later this week.
