As reported previously, Italian domestic scrap prices have followed a sideways trend this month compared to November. The situation has not changed in the past week and is unlikely to change either in the coming weeks, due to the approach of the Christmas and New Year holidays. Meanwhile, local market sources predict that scrap prices may trend sideways or downward in January, due to enduring uncertainties related to the economic and political situation, both locally and globally.
