On June 26, SteelOrbis reported containerized shredded scrap import offer prices from the UK and EU to Bangladesh at $327-332/mt CFR, while containerized HMS I/II 80:20 was reportedly at $312-318/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that containerized shredded scrap import offers to Bangladesh from the UK and EU are now reportedly at $331-335/mt CFR and containerized HMS I/II 80:20 is reportedly at $318-320/mt CFR. While the prices are higher compared to three weeks ago, sources note that after a rebound attempt in early July that was higher by $6-8/mt compared to June 26 levels, prices have been slipping down in the past two weeks. A source noted that lower offer prices for each scrap grade are available from other not EU destinations.
