According to market sources, ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Taiwan are currently at $327-330/mt CFR CY, while a Taiwanese steel mill concluded an ex-US deal yesterday, September 12, for 4,000-5,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $325-326/mt CFR CY.
On the other hand, Japanese H1/H2 (50:50) scrap offers to Taiwan are standing at $355/mt CFR CY.
