In the Turkish steel market, HMS I/II 80:20 import offers show significant differences depending on their origin.
Accordingly, ex-US HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Turkey are at $475/mt CFR, while some transactions are heard to have been concluded in the price range of $472-473/mt CFR.
In the meantime, while ex-UK HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Turkey stand at $460-465/mt CFR, it is heard that offers for similar material from continental Europe are at about $445/mt CFR.
On the other hand, for ex-Black Sea A3 scrap, Turkish mills are willing to conclude bookings in the price range of $450-455/mt CFR.
