SteelOrbis has learned that the dock delivered price for HMS I/II 80:20 scrap in Los Angeles is still being heard at approximately $315-$330/gt, unchanged since our last report a week ago. However, sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed that some buyers are paying up to $20/gt higher, depending on the seller and the volume of scrap that's being delivered. Consequently, some buyers have said that in some cases, exporters are paying as much as $350/gt for dock delivered scrap.
