Graphite electrode prices encounter small mixed movements

On January 15, SteelOrbis reported that average domestic graphite electrode prices in China for HP (high-powered) 450 graphite grade were reportedly at an average price of RMB 44,000/mt ($6,509/mt) and UHP (ultra-high powered) 600 graphite was reportedly at an average price of RMB 85,000/mt ($12,574/mt), all prices ex-warehouse.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that the HP 450 average price is now at RMB 42,500/mt ($6,324/mt) while UHP 600 is reportedly at RMB 85,000/mt ($12,649/mt), all prices ex-warehouse. The average price on HP 450 has decreased by $185/mt while the UHP 600 average price have increased by a nominal $75/mt.
