According to sources, India is making small containerized shredded scrap deals in the market, with material reportedly purchased deep-sea from the UK and US. Ex-US containerized shredded was sold at $337/mt CFR Nhava. Offers are presently at $340-350/mt CFR Nhava.

Sources tell SteelOrbis the rainy monsoon season and slowly recovering domestic market are limiting additional import scrap buys by Indian scrap traders.
