Ex-US scrap booking in Far East

SteelOrbis has learned that a Taiwanese producer concluded a booking for an ex-US scrap cargo consisting of 36,000 mt of HMS I at $445/mt CFR. At the same time, a Korean producer concluded a booking for ex-US scrap bulk cargo consisting of HMS I/II 80:20 at $455/mt CFR. Current ex-US rates for containerized material have been heard at $405/mt CFR HMS I/II 80:20 Taiwan and $410/mt CFR HMS I/II 80:20 CFR Vietnam.
