On Tuesday, October 25, in the Chinese futures market iron ore prices and all steel prices, including futures prices of rebar and hot rolled coil (HRC), have moved upwards, led by the increases recorded in coking coal futures prices. This general upward movement of futures prices has also been reflected in prices in the physical market, prompting iron ore prices to increase by $2.5/mt on the date in question.
