Coking coal offer prices to India trend up

Sources inform SteelOrbis that premium hard coking coal (PHCC) export offers from Australia have increased this week on increased import activity by Chinese traders, the largest buyers of Australian coking coal. On February 1, SteelOrbis reported PHCC at $217/mt FOB East coast Australian ports. Sources report that offer prices to India have since increased by $10-11/mt to $227-228/mt FOB East coast Australian ports.
