Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 32

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,900-8,200/mt ($261-271/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis. 

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 32,000-35,000/mt ($1,058-1,157/mt) ex-yard. 

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late August shipments.
