SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Izmir in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5 mm drawing quality wire rod have been issued at $570/mt ex-works, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade have been set at $670/mt ex-works.
In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5 mm drawing quality wire rod are at $585/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $685/mt delivered to Istanbul. Its offers have only fallen by $10/mt for 20MnB4 grade, against the backdrop of sluggish demand, while offers have remained unchanged for other grades. All prices are compared to the offers seen on Monday, August 4.
The mill has also kept its 5.5-16 mm SAE 1010/mesh grade price unchanged at $550/mt, while keeping its 5.5-16 mm SAE 1010/mesh grade-2A price at $540/mt ex-works in Izmir, as compared to August 4.
All the above prices exclude 20 percent VAT and are for cash payments.
