SteelOrbis has learned that Indonesian mesh quality wire rod offers to Sri Lanka stand at the price range of $785-790/mt CFR, while ex-Turkey offers for this country are at $805-810/mt CFR, both for September shipments.

After a lively July, the Sri Lanka wire rod market has made a quieter start to August in terms of demand. Indian mesh quality wire rod offers, which are at $745-755/mt CIF Colombo and are thus more reasonable than Indonesian and Turkish offers, now dominate the Sri Lanka market.
