Wire rod import offers to Sri Lanka

SteelOrbis has been informed that ex-Turkey drawing quality wire rod offers to Sri Lanka have indicated some increases this week, reaching levels of $730-735/mt CIF, while ex-India offers for the same material stand in the price range of $700-705/mt CIF. Both offers are on actual weight basis and for deliveries in January.

Demand in Sri Lanka is expected to strengthen further as from the second week of January.
